Old clocks, kept running.
We are a two-person workshop that cleans, repairs and regulates mechanical clocks. Most of what comes through our door is between sixty and two hundred years old, and most of it only needs patience, fresh oil and a few carefully made parts.
Every clock is stripped, inspected and quoted before any work begins. If a repair is not worth the cost, we will say so.
What we usually see
- Mantel clocks that stopped after a house move
- Wall regulators that gain or lose several minutes a week
- Longcase movements with worn pivots and tired mainsprings
Typical turnaround is four to six weeks, depending on parts.
